In April this year, Brazil's crude steel production amounted to 2.77 million tons, an increase of 5.1% on a monthly basis and a decrease of 5.9% on an annual basis. The country's crude steel production hit a record high compared to last November.
In the first four months of this year, Brazil's crude steel production decreased by 8.8% yoy to 10.58 million tons.
Production of steel products increased on a monthly basis
The country's steel output was 1.89 million tons, an increase of 1.3% on a monthly basis and a decrease of 5.7% on an annual basis.
