Brazil's crude steel production rises in October

In October this year, Brazil's crude steel production amounted to 2.7 million tons, up 3.5% on a monthly basis and down 8.5% on an annual basis.

Rolled steel production decreased

In the same period, Brazil's rolled steel production fell by 0.1% mom and 9% yoy to 1.8 million tons.

Semi-finished steel production rose

Semi-finished product production reached 850,000 tons, up 13% m-o-m and 25.4% y-o-y.

According to data for the first ten months of this year;

From January to October, Brazil's crude steel output totaled 26.6 million tons, down by 8.1% y-o-y, production of rolled steel products totaled about 18 million tons, down by 8.8% y-o-y, and production of semi-finished products totaled about 8 million tons, up by 19.4% y-o-y.
