Brazilian wire rod exports increased 3.7 times in November

In the month under review, ArcelorMittal shipped 28.2 thousand tons at a price of $781/t FOB, "Gerdau" – 6.1 thousand tons at a price of $609/t FOB and the company "Simec" – 200 tons at a price of $498/t FOB.

Brazilian wire rod export destinations in November were:
USA - 27.1 thousand tons at a price of $784/t FOB,
South American countries - 3.9 thousand tons at a price of $645/t FOB,
Dominican Republic - 3.4 thousand tons at a price of $595/t FOB and
Thailand – 100 tons at a price of $866/t FOB.

In turn, in November of this year, Brazil imported 13.5 thousand tons of wire rod versus 29.6 thousand tons in the previous month. In the month under review, supplies from China amounted to 12.4 thousand tons at a price of $566/t FOB. Also, minor volumes were imported from Russia, Japan and Spain.
