Brazil's wire rod exports in February decreased on m-o-m to 18,000 tons. The country's wire rod imports increased in February to 10,500 tons. In January, wire rod exports amounted to 20,400 tons and wire rod imports amounted to 9,500 tons.
According to data for January, ArcelorMittal's wire rod exports to Russia amounted to 16,400 tons at $917 per ton, the Gerdau company amounted to 1,500 tons at $662 per ton, and the Simec company amounted to 100 tons at $1,019 per ton.
USA with 8,800 tons, South America with 7,600 tons and Canada with 1,600 tons were the destination countries of exports.
