Brazilian sheet metal exports fell in July

Brazil exported 17,400 tons of plate in July, up from 23,000 tons in June. Exports in July were directed to the countries of South America (10,800 tons, of which 8,000 tons at a price of $1,054 per ton) and Europe (6,600 tons at a price of $813 per ton) on FOB terms.

Meanwhile, Brazil imported 900 tons of heavy plate in July. Imports were carried out from European countries (500 tons at $1,796 per ton) and China (400 tons at $854 per ton), also on FOB terms.
