Noting that the company plans to make its biggest investment ever in electric vehicles at one time, the statement said that together with SK Innovation, an investment of 11.4 billion dollars is planned to establish 3 battery factories and an assembly plant for electric F Series pickup trucks, creating new employment for approximately 11,000 people. was recorded.

40 TO 50 PERCENT OF VEHICLE VOLUME WILL BE ELECTRIC

In the statement, it was stated that the complex called "Blue Oval City" will be built on an area of ​​​​approximately 15,540 acres in western Tennessee, where new generation electric F-series pickup trucks and advanced batteries will be produced.

In the statement, it was stated that the "BlueOvalSK Battery Park", consisting of twin battery facilities, will be built in Kentucky, and it was noted that the production of new electric vehicles and advanced lithium-ion batteries will begin in 2025.
