Baosteel Desheng increased stainless steel capacity

Baosteel Desheng has increased its steel production capacity by 3.22 million tons and iron production capacity by 2.13 million tons.

The company's expansion includes a 2,500 m3 blast furnace, a 150-ton converter, steelmaking and continuous casting, 1,780 mm hot rolling, 1,600 mm pickling and one production line each for 300 and 400 series stainless steel.

At the same time, Baosteel has successfully completed trial production of all production lines.
