Australia has launched an anti-dumping investigation into pipe imports from four countries

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced that, following an application by Australian company Orrcon Manufacturing Pty Ltd, it has initiated an investigation into anti-dumping and, for products imported from China, countervailing measures on welded pipes imported from China, South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan.

The Commission will examine whether the products in question are being exported to Australia with minor modifications to circumvent the existing anti-dumping and countervailing measures. The relevant Australian customs codes for these products are 7308.90.00.52, 7308.90.00.56, and 7308.90.00.65. The investigation covers the period from July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2025.

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission will complete the preliminary report of basic facts by no later than December 23, 2025, and will submit the final report to the Australian Minister for Industry and Science by February 6, 2026.
