ArcelorMittal, Brazil's largest steel producer, has completed 100 years of operations in the long steel segment in the country. The company is preparing for a new growth cycle and is investing more and more in the development of high value-added products.
In November last year, ArcelorMittal announced that it will invest 4.3 billion Brazilian reals in Brazilian operation from now until 2024, doubling or even tripling the annual production capacity at its factories in the country.
ArcelorMittal Brasil President Jefferson De Paula said that everyone in ArcelorMittal's family is proud to celebrate the centennial. The company remains committed to meeting the current and future demands of society, and continuing to develop smart steel solutions with innovation and sustainability.
