ArcelorMittal Dofasco, one of Canada's leading flat steel producers, has increased the price of hot-rolled coils and cold-rolled coils to C$1,200C/short ton and 1,460C$/short tonne, respectively. The price of hot-dip galvanized coil, galvanized annealed steel and galvalum was also increased to 1,460 C$/short ton, 1,470 C$/short ton, and 1,500 C$/short ton.
In addition, NLMK USA, a subsidiary of the Russian NLMK Group, announced that it has increased the prices of hot-rolled coils by 50 US $/short ton. This means that the new price is a minimum of US$925/short ton.
