ArcelorMittal consolidates global leadership in sustainability

ArcelorMittal consolidates global leadership in sustainability

Acquired in 2006 by India-based Mittal Steel, ArcelorMittal has made its name on the “Steel Sustainability Champion” list published by Worldsteel with its green hydrogen steel production, carbon capture technologies and projects to increase recycling rates.

Operating with the goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050, the company supports its sustainability vision not only with production techniques but also with strategic investments in green innovation. Thanks to these efforts, the company not only fulfills its environmental responsibility but also continues its mission of being the pioneer of transformation in the industry.

The Luxembourg-based steel manufacturing company continues to lead the industry with its green hydrogen steel production, carbon capture technologies and efforts to increase recycling rates by focusing on production that minimizes environmental impact.

This award, presented by Worldsteel, once again proved ArcelorMittal's role in leading the steel industry towards a greener and more sustainable future.
