Aperam's first quarter revenues decreased

Aperam's first quarter sales revenues decreased compared to the same period last year.

Aperam's first quarter revenues decreased

Luxembourg-based global stainless steel producer Aperam SA announced its financial report for the first quarter of 2023.

Net profit decreased by 29.4% compared to the same period of the previous year and totalled EUR 132 million. Sales revenues totalled EUR 1.87 billion, down 17.2% y-o-y, but up 16.1% q-o-q. Aperam's EBITDA decreased by 1.5% q-o-q and 65% y-o-y to EUR 127 million.

Furthermore, Aperam's steel shipments increased by 19.8% q-o-q and decreased by 12.1% y-o-y to 591,000 metric tonnes.
