AGIS and Metal Park signed partnership agreement to strengthen steel logistics in the UAE

Leading flat steel producer in the Middle East, Al Ghurair Iron & Steel (AGIS), and Metal Park signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at improving the efficiency and integration of the steel supply chain across the UAE.

According to a statement released by Metal Park, the partnership will integrate AGIS’s manufacturing capabilities with Metal Park’s comprehensive infrastructure covering warehousing, dispatch, logistics, and distribution. This integration is expected to ensure faster and more seamless movement of steel products from ports to warehouses, production facilities, and ultimately end customers.

Located in the KEZAD industrial zone in Abu Dhabi, Metal Park will provide dedicated storage and transportation services to AGIS. With its proximity to Khalifa Port and strong connectivity to key transport corridors, the facility is positioned as an integrated hub for the metals industry.

The collaboration is expected to support significant annual steel volumes while enabling a more flexible, reliable, and efficient supply chain model for industrial customers. Metal Park also aims to strengthen the regional industrial ecosystem by offering storage, processing, fabrication, and logistics services under one integrated platform.

Metal Park CEO Vahid Fouladkar emphasized that supply chain efficiency is critical for the future competitiveness of the metals industry, noting that the partnership combines manufacturing strength with integrated logistics to create a more connected ecosystem. AGIS CEO Abu Bucker Husain stated that the collaboration will enhance operational efficiency and enable faster, more flexible, and more integrated service delivery to customers.
