Polish Government Spokesperson Piotr Mueller made statements regarding the prevention of coal imports from Russia after the Council of Ministers Meeting.
Mueller reported that financial penalties will be imposed on all Polish private entities that import coal from Russia.
Expressing that Poland cannot expect the European Union (EU), which consists of 27 countries, to adopt this policy, Mueller said that half of the coal imported from Russia is used for heating purposes in homes and the rest is used in industry.
