A giant project of 1680 houses from Qatar Charity to the north of Syria!

The project aims to build a town called "al-Qaramah" around the village of Susunbat, about 10 kilometres from the centre of Bab district. This new settlement will provide housing for approximately 9,000 civilians.

Qatar Charity's urban project includes the construction of 1680 houses, as well as facilities such as a kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, high school, health centre, vocational training centre and a mosque.

This large project is planned to be implemented on an area of 500 thousand square metres.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held in the centre of Bab district with a ceremony attended by Gaziantep Deputy Governor Burak Akeller. Simultaneously with the groundbreaking ceremony in Syria, a signing ceremony was organised in Ankara.
