There was a decline in Türkiye's ferro alloy trade in 2023. According to the information compiled by SteelRadar based on Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, Türkiye's ferro alloy imports decreased by 7% compared to the previous year, falling to 501,360 tons.
Despite this decrease, in December, it increased by 8.46% and was recorded as 37,791 tons, representing an increase of 3.24% compared to the previous month.
On the export side, Türkiye exported ferro alloys in 2023 with a decrease of 12.70% compared to the previous year. In December, ferro alloy exports increased by 17.87% on an annual basis and reached 9,202 tons. An increase of 12.84% was recorded compared to the previous month.
