27 exporting companies from Afyon and Kütahya will be rewarded

Aegean exporters, who have entered the second century of our Republic with an export volume of $43.6 billion, aim to increase their exports to $50 billion and wish to make the most of the government support programs provided by the Ministry of Trade.

27 exporting companies from Afyon and Kütahya will be rewarded

The Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) will hold the “EIB Business Community Meetings” on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Afyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Assembly Meeting Hall. The event aims to inform businesspeople about the services provided to member companies by the EIB General Secretariat, the state support programs implemented by the Ministry of Trade, and topics such as the Green Deal Adaptation Support and the Responsible® Program.

The next stop of the “EIB Business Community Meetings” will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Having already met with exporters in İzmir, Balıkesir, Aydın, Manisa, Uşak, and Muğla over the past year, the EIB will complete the first round of its regional meetings with the visits to Afyonkarahisar and Kütahya.

Jak Eskinazi, the EIB’s Coordinator Chairperson, emphasized that government support mechanisms will play a critical role in achieving Türkiye’s export target of $280 billion by the end of 2025. He stated:

“Afyonkarahisar increased its exports by 32% in the first five months of 2025, rising from $137 million to $182 million. Kütahya recorded a 2% growth in exports, contributing $172.5 million in foreign exchange earnings to Türkiye. Our goal for the second half of 2025 is to see these provinces further boost their performance and contribute significantly to Türkiye’s $280 billion export target. Following our presentations on government supports, we will hold an award ceremony for 27 companies from these two provinces that have made outstanding contributions to exports.”
