Trading volumes in Türkiye’s rebar market are steadily losing momentum amid limited demand and currency movements. Prices, which were expected to rise due to higher costs after the New Year, are instead moving sideways in the spot market because of weak demand.
Producers in İskenderun and İzmir announced prices in the range of USD 561–567, reflecting increases of USD 2–6 after the New Year. However, sufficient buying interest was not observed on the demand side. Meanwhile, producers in the Marmara region maintained their pre–New Year price levels of USD 575–580.

Local billet prices were observed at USD 510–515 in İskenderun and USD 505–510 in the Marmara and İzmir regions. Meanwhile, influenced by billets of Russian and Chinese origin, CFR Türkiye billet prices are being tracked at around USD 460–475.
