12.3 percent increase in the number of closed companies

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) announced the statistics of established-closed companies for October.

Accordingly, the number of companies established in October increased by 1.3 percent compared to September, from 10 thousand 978 to 11 thousand 124. In the same period, the number of closed companies increased by 12.3 percent to 2 thousand 246. In September, 2 thousand companies were closed.

While the number of companies established in October decreased by 10.6 percent compared to the same month of last year, the number of closed companies increased by 31.7 percent.
