The Greek-Turkish border, which has been closed since March 2020, has been opened. So what do you need to go to Greece?
Boats from Turkey can enter with passengers. The first entry must be made from these islands: Rhodes Island, Symi Island, Kos Island, Patmos Island, Leros Island, Chios Island, Lesbos Island, Limnos Island and Kavala Harbor.
Procedure: Vaccination certificate or negative 72 hours PCR test information should be given at least 6 hours before the boat arrives.
VACCINE AND PCR TEST WAS MANDATORY
In the travel directive dated 5 August published by the Civil Aviation Authority (YPA) affiliated to the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Turkish citizens with a vaccination certificate or who declared a negative test result of "Covid-19 PCR/RAPID" will now be able to enter Greece. Emphasizing that the practice of filling in the "travel form" containing personal information for citizens of all countries upon entry to Greece continues, it was stated that the conditions sought for 35 countries as well as Turkey apply to children older than 12 years of age. It was also noted that within the framework of the new decision, rapid tests will be carried out for all passengers at the border and customs gates, and those with positive results will be quarantined for 14 days.
