A National Women's Volleyball Team defeated the last Olympic champion China 3-0 in the first match of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games Group B.
While Ebrar Karakurt became a star with 18 points in the national team, Eda Erdem Dündar contributed 13 points, Zehra Güneş 11 points, Hande Baladin 10 points, Meliha İsmailoğlu 4 points and Cansu Özbay 3 points.
The crescent-star team will play against Italy on Tuesday, July 27, in their second match in the Olympic games. The match will start at 10:25 CEST.
The Sultans of the Net are competing against China, USA, Italy, Russia and Argentina in Group B at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
