Ghana leads as top destination for Iran's exports to Africa in 2023

In the initial four months of this year, Iran's exports to Africa saw Ghana emerging as the foremost destination. Impressively, Ghana procured a total of $54.4 million worth of Iranian goods during this period. The country exported 432,000 tons of goods valued at $152.4 million to 38 African countries.  Iran's main exports to the African continent included iron and steel products valued at $61 million. Additionally, Iran imported 17.2 thousand tons of products worth $23.5 million from 18 African nations. This trade activity highlights the significant economic interactions between Iran and various African partners.
