Industrial production in Germany at the end of November last year decreased by 0.7% compared to the previous month, including seasonal effects, according to the source data. Excluding the energy and construction sectors, industrial production fell by 0.5% in November. Output in the energy sector increased by 3.9%, while output in the construction sector decreased by 2.9%.
Relative to November 2022, industrial production in Germany declined by 4.8%. In November 2023, however, steel production decreased by 2.4% compared to the previous month as 2.7 million tons.
