In the first eight months, steel production of French steel producers decreased by 25.9% compared to the same period last year, reaching 6.46 million tons.
Moreover, in August, EU steel production decreased by 4.4% year on year to 9.1 million tons.
From January to August, production in the EU reached approximately 85.7 million tons, with an annual decrease of 9.8%.
