Australian Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) increased its iron ore production in the third quarter of 2022. It increased by 3% compared to the second quarter of the year and amounted to 48 million tons.
The company's iron ore shipments reached 47.5 million tonnes, down 4% from the previous quarter and up 4% y-o-y.
Iron ore shipments in the 2023 financial year are between 187 million and 192 million tons.
