According to a social media post by Exiros CEO Julian Eguren, under the agreement Exiros will manage procurement and contracting processes by focusing on the facility’s capital expenditures (Capex) and selected maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) purchases. This process will support Optimus Steel’s decision-making mechanisms by covering tender management, negotiation stages, and purchase approval recommendations.
Eguren stated that the agreement is part of Exiros’ strategy to extend its procurement capabilities to a broader customer base. He noted that the company is strengthening its service model based on technology, expertise, and team capacity in line with its growth and global expansion targets.
The statement emphasized that coordination between commercial, technical, and operational teams is one of the key success factors of the agreement, and expressed appreciation for the trust placed by the client. Team members contributing to the process include Alejandro Fano, Pablo Granucci, and Martín Urcola.
The agreement is considered a new step in Exiros’ strategy to expand its activities in supply chain management, particularly in the industrial and steel sectors.
