Eurozone industrial production exceeded expectations

Industrial production in the Eurozone increased 1% in November compared to the previous month.

Eurozone industrial production exceeded expectations
Industrial production data was announced. According to the data, industrial production in the 19-member Eurozone increased by 1% in November compared to October and by 2% compared to November 2021. Expectations were that there would be an increase of 0.5% per month and 0.5% per year.
Industrial production in the EU also increased by 0.9% in November compared to the previous month and by 2% compared to the same period last year.
Among the EU countries, the highest increase in industrial production on a monthly basis was determined in Ireland with 6.4%, Luxembourg with 5% and Malta with 4.6%. The largest decline was found in Estonia with 3.7%, Sweden with 3.3% and Croatia with 1.9%.
On an annual basis, industrial production increased the most in Ireland with 34.9%, Malta with 15.5% and Denmark with 9.3%, while it decreased by 12.2% in Estonia, 10.7% in Slovakia and 4% in Romania.
