EuRIC has rebranded as "Recycling Europe"

The European Recycling Industries’ Confederation (EuRIC) announced that it has rebranded as “Recycling Europe,” taking an important step that strengthens its mission to unite the European recycling industry under a single voice in an increasingly competitive and uncertain global environment.

EuRIC has rebranded as "Recycling Europe"

The organization noted that Europe is facing increasing trade tensions, security issues in raw material supply, and urgent needs related to the decarbonization of industry. Under the name Recycling Europe, it emphasizes the critical role of the recycling sector in achieving Europe’s climate goals, circular economy objectives, resource autonomy, and competitiveness.

The Confederation’s Secretary-General, Julia Ettinger, stated: “Recycling Europe is an example of the Confederation becoming a unified and forward-looking voice for recyclers across the continent. While our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to ensure that recyclers are recognized and empowered as indispensable partners in building Europe’s circular and resilient economy.”

The new brand represents both continuity and a stronger vision. Recycling Europe will continue to speak on behalf of recyclers operating across a wide range of materials, from metals to plastics, paper to textiles, rubber, and other recyclable materials. The organization aims to enhance the sector’s visibility, influence, and representation at both European and international levels.

The statement emphasized that Recycling Europe will continue advocating for a regulatory framework that enables, rather than restricts, the sector. The organization will keep working to support open markets, investment in innovation, and policies that ensure the long-term resilience of European industry.
