The medium profile price (category 1, S235 JR) in Europe was assessed at 925 euro/mt delivered, down 5 euro/mt on the week.
A distributor source in the Benelux region said that the applicable level for category 1 medium profile is around 920-930 euro/mt ex-works.
Northwest European rebar was assessed flat at 680 euro/mt ex-works on 3 May.
A distributor in the Benelux region stated that the applicable level for rebar in the local market was around 705 euro/mt.
In the local market in Northwest Europe, a delivery level of 695-705 euro/mt for rebar was said to be possible.
