EU plans to impose sanctions on Belarus

The European Union has proposed to impose a new sanctions package on Belarus, which is known to provide military support to Russia in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It is known that the planned sanctions on Belarus are similar to those applied to Russia and include oil, coal, steel products and gold. If the proposed sanctions are approved by all member states, sanctions covering oil, coal, steel products and gold, as well as the country's technology imports and energy sector, will be imposed.
