The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has opted to prolong the anti-dumping (AD) duty on the importation of cold-formed stainless steel seamless pipes from China and Malaysia for an additional five years, extending until January 22, 2029.
This decision follows an investigation initiated by the Department for Internal Market Defence on March 6, 2023.
As a consequence of the altered circumstances, the AD duty rate has been raised to 29.39%, up from the existing 19.15%. The initial imposition of the AD measure on these specific products from China dates back to 2013, with a duty rate of 19.15% of the customs value, while Malaysia became subject to this measure in 2017.
