As of July 1, the Turkish long steel market remained largely stable across the rebar, billet, wire rod and section segments, while limited regional price movements were observed in the rebar market.

As of July 1, the Turkish long steel market remained largely stable. In the rebar segment, prices were mostly unchanged, with only a slight decline recorded in the Payas region. Billet, wire rod, and structural steel prices also remained stable.

Rebar

In the spot market, rebar prices in Istanbul, Izmir, and Karabük remained unchanged, while prices in Payas declined by TRY 200/t to TRY 31,800/t.

Average Producer Prices

On the producer side, Marmara-based mills maintained their offers at $590/t, while Izmir-based producers reduced their offers to $570/t. Producers in the Iskenderun region continued to offer rebar at $575/t.

Producer Offers

İçdaş increased its Istanbul rebar offer to $594.43/t, while İçdaş Biga raised its offer to $580.14/t. Kardemir maintained its rebar price at $573/t and kept sales closed.
