U.S. crude steel production increased by 0.8% on a weekly basis and decreased by 1.9% y-o-y to a total of 1,677 million short tons. The country's capacity utilization rate during this period increased by 0.6% on a weekly basis to 75%, while decreasing by 3.7% y-o-y.
Crude steel production in the USA decreased by 5.1% y-o-y to 16,513 million short tons, while capacity utilization rate decreased by 5.8% y-o-y to 73.9%.
