Consumer confidence index increased in June

According to the results of the consumer tendency survey conducted in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT), the consumer confidence index increased from 84.8 in May to 85.1 in June.

Analyzing the sub-items, the index of the financial situation of the household in the current period increased by 0.4% to 69.3. The index of household financial situation expectation for the next 12 months increased by 0.6% to 85.8. The general economic situation expectation index also increased by 0.3% to 82.4. The index of the intention to spend on durable goods increased slightly to 102.6.
