According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the world's largest steel producing country produced 74.54 million tons of metal last month, compared to 79.76 million tons in October.
However, production increased by 7.3% compared to the same month of the previous year. Production in November 2021 was at a yearly low of 69.31 million tonnes due to major power cuts and restrictions on polluting industries.
According to the calculations, the average daily steel production in November was 2.49 million tons, the lowest level in a year.
