According to the evaluation of a professional agency, China's 304 stainless steel cold rolled coil base price increased by US$40-60/ton in the previous week, while the 304 hot rolled coil price increased by US$30-60/ton weekly.
The increase was mainly due to nickel prices, which increased early last week, and the strengthening CNY. However, there was not much activity in the export market last week due to the New Year holiday.
