China Shagang Steel announced that it has reduced its scrap purchase prices due to the decrease in steel demand.

China Shagang Steel cuts scrap prices

China Shagang Steel announced that it has reduced its scrap purchase prices due to the decrease in steel demand. The new prices, effective from today, are at the level of $480 for HMS (6-10 mm). The company said that the decrease in steel demand was the reason for the decrease in scrap prices.
