China calls on the US to create a "favorable environment for healthy trade relations"

The Chinese Ministry of Finance called on Washington to create a "favorable environment for healthy trade relations."

In a statement from the Chinese Ministry of Finance, the United States was urged to take "concrete" steps to create a favorable environment for economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The statement emphasized that the essence of U.S.-China trade relations is mutual benefit and both sides should gain, while also warning against trade wars.

China urged the United States to create a "favorable environment for healthy trade relations."

Janet Yellen is expected to stay in China until July 9th U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen traveled to China yesterday, and in a Twitter post before her meetings, she emphasized the pursuit of "healthy economic competition" with China.

Yellen, who began her visit to China on July 6th, where many issues such as bilateral relations and climate change are on the table, is expected to stay in the country until July 9th.

Relations between the United States and China have been strained in recent years due to issues such as Taiwan, chip trade, and espionage balloon crises.

Yellen's visit comes shortly after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to Beijing last month.
