Brazil's steel plate exports rise in April

Brazil's steel plate exports increased on a monthly and annual basis to 8,800 tons. The country exported 7,200 tons in March and 4,200 tons in February.

South America was the main export destination with a price of $7,700.

Exports included 5,500 tons sent by Usiminas to Argentina at $1,455 per ton.

Exporters included Usiminas with 6,800 tons ($1333 per ton), ArcelorMittal with 1,800 tons ($749 per ton) and Traders with 200 tons ($1072 per ton).
