Tosçelik Spiral Boru has been awarded BOTAŞ’s natural gas pipeline contract.

According to media reports, Tosçelik Spiral Boru submitted the most advantageous bid in BOTAŞ’s LV Yülüce–Pig Şarköy Natural Gas Pipeline (NGPL) Steel Pipe Procurement Tender.

Tosçelik Spiral Boru has been awarded BOTAŞ’s natural gas pipeline contract.

The LV Yülüce–Pig Şarköy Natural Gas Pipeline (NGPL) Steel Pipe Procurement Tender, conducted by BOTAŞ (Petroleum Pipeline Corporation), has been concluded. In the tender, which had an estimated value of TRY 343,800,000 and received bids from six companies, Tosçelik Spiral Boru secured the contract by submitting the most economically advantageous bid, amounting to TRY 224,176,777.

As part of the project, launched in line with Türkiye’s objectives to strengthen its energy and natural gas transmission infrastructure, a total of 17,971 metres of steel pipe will be supplied for the pipeline.

Following the completion of the legal procedures and evaluation process, BOTAŞ is expected to invite the winning bidder to sign the official contract in the coming days. This steel pipe supply project, which will play a significant role in energy infrastructure development, will add another major reference project to Tosçelik Spiral Boru’s portfolio in the steel pipe industry.
