BlueScope Steel announced its pre-tax earnings without interest expenses for the six-month period that ended on December 31st, 2016. The company's profit increased and reached approximately AUD 6 billion.
BlueScope attributed this profit increase to the improvements in sales and productivity at its subsidiaries Australian Steel Products, North Star BlueScope Steel, and New Zealand and Pacific Steel.
