Belgium's Bekaert, which is a global market and technology leader in steel wire converting and coating technologies, as well as offering a wide range of advanced solutions for various industries, announced its financial performance in 2022. In 2022, Bekaert's consolidated sales reached 5.7 billion euros with an annual increase of 16.8%, while its EBITDA decreased by approximately 5% compared to 2021 and became 654 million euros. Stating that the company performed well at the beginning of 2023 despite economic uncertainties, the prices of its products increased in 2022 due to the increase in raw material and energy costs.
