Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) plans to deliver a total of 600 million rubles (~$10 million) of seamless steel pipes to Bashkortostan in 2023.
BMZ delivered $6.8 million worth of steel products to the Russian region from January to September, delivering twice as many steel products as compared to the same period last year.
After the EU and the US imposed sanctions on Belarus for its involvement in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, BMZ found alternative raw material suppliers from Russia and China. Continuing to meet Russia's steel import demand, BMZ also increased its steel supply to Kazakhstan, which has exported more than $12 million worth of steel in the first half of 2022.
