The cooperation aims to increase local production and facilitate knowledge transfer in the industrial sector. Under the agreement, it is planned to produce seamless and spiral steel pipes in Saudi Arabia—products that were previously imported and are used in critical sectors such as water and gas.
Within the scope of the partnership, an integrated industrial ecosystem will be established in the country. This is expected to enhance production capacity and improve efficiency across the sector.
The agreement will also strengthen SAAL’s role as a strategic local partner while contributing to the development of the country’s industrial infrastructure and its self-sufficiency goals. In addition, the parties will focus on developing the local workforce and enhancing the capabilities of young talent through knowledge transfer.
Signed on Thursday, April 2, the memorandum of understanding is seen as an important step toward the transfer of advanced technologies and the improvement of production efficiency, while also demonstrating the parties’ commitment to sustainable development and industrial transformation.
