Alba and Daiki Aluminium establish sustainable partnership

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) and Daiki Aluminium Industry Co., Ltd. reaffirmed their strategic partnership at the Gateway Gulf 2024 forum, announcing plans to establish the "Alba-Daiki Sustainable Solutions (ADSS)" aluminium dross processing facility. This collaboration is seen as a significant step toward enhancing environmental sustainability in the region and promoting technological innovation in aluminium production. With this project, Bahrain aims to further demonstrate its commitment to green technology on the global stage.

Alba will hold a 70% stake in the partnership, while Daiki Aluminium will hold the remaining 30%. The two companies plan to begin operations of the facility in September 2026, contributing to Bahrain’s environmental management and sustainable development goals. This partnership also supports Bahrain’s economic diversification strategy, reinforcing the country’s commitment to becoming a global investment hub.

Alba’s CEO, Ali Al Baqali, stated, “This partnership will strengthen Bahrain’s leadership in the eco-friendly industrial revolution. We aim to drive not only economic growth but also the preservation of natural resources, leaving behind a cleaner world for future generations.”
