Akın Haddecilik is building a greener future

As part of its green transformation goals, Akın Haddecilik continues to continuously improve and strengthen its energy management system to ensure sustainability.

The company board shared on social media: "Our installed capacity for solar energy systems allows us to produce 5 million kWh/year of renewable energy, and we meet our steel production needs from our own resources. As part of our green transformation goals, we are continuously improving and developing our energy management system to ensure sustainability, building a greener future together!"

Akın Haddecilik, which has developed and expanded the rainwater collection system that it had built in the first years of its establishment and nowadays uses it in different stages of its production by storing it in pools located in different parts of the facility, saves approximately 6000 tons of water annually (equivalent to approximately 1 year consumption of 300 households) with this system.
