Zaporizhstal increased production volumes

The Ukrainian metallurgical plant Zaporizhstal, part of Metinvest, announced production results for October and 10 months of the current year. 

 In October, Zaporizhstal produced 267.3 thousand tons of pig iron, 251.7 thousand tons of crude steel and 208.6 thousand tons of finished rolled products, which is by 70.2%, 106.8% and 104.9% more than in the previous year, respectively.

In January-October, pig iron production at Zaporizhstal amounted to 2.19 million tons, an increase of 27.1%, crude steel - 1.99 million tons, finished rolled products - 1.65 million tons, an increase of 49.7 % and 40.6% respectively compared to the same period last year.
