Wire rod imports of Türkiye decreased by 16.5% in February

SteelRadar's data obtained from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) revealed that Türkiye's wire rod imports in February 2024 decreased by 16.5% compared to the same month of the previous year, from 40,260 tons to 33,605 tons, while decreasing by 1.1% compared to the previous month.

The United Kingdom was the leading importing country for wire rod in February. Imports from the UK increased by 27.5%, followed by South Korea with an increase of 752.2%, Russia with a decrease of 83.7%, Iran with an increase of 7841.2% and Spain with an increase of 11.7%.
