Wire mesh prices increased in Turkish markets in the January-February period

Wire mesh prices, which were $780 on January 2, 2023, continued to rise every week, reaching $809 on January 10, 2023. It decreased to $784 on January 25 due to reasons such as heavy demand shortage in the market, limited credit usage, and excess supply. Prices, which were in the range of $790-795 from January 30 to February 17, started to increase again on February 21. After the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş affecting 11 provinces in our country, the container, which became an intense need, affected the prices of the wire mesh to be used on the floors. Based on the needs that will arise later, the expectation of an increase in production continues.

Wire mesh manufacturers, which entered a busy period with the increase in raw materials and tightness in demand and exports, increased their steel mesh prices to $ 860 on February 28, 2023.
