Throughout the week, Black Sea billet suppliers would sporadically appear on the global market. In most cases, the offers they made did not meet the expectations of the buyers, but some deals were finalized by the end of the week. The Far Eastern region, where there have been reports of billet sales, has continued to support Russian producers.
Russian billet in Turkey has been offered at $500/t CIF Black Sea ports, $505/t CIF Aliaga and $515/t CIF Iskenderun (approx. $475/t FOB Black Sea) for September shipment.
Price assessment for CIS export billet remains at $465/t FOB.
